Online exhibition opens with the launch of the exhibition tour on Sunday 11 December 2021 on this website.
Instructions and conditions
Photo entry can be vertical or horizontal.
The artwork must be a digital photograph and submitted as a digital file saved as a JPG no larger than 5 megabytes in file size.
Fill in and submit the entry form online ensuring that a parent or legal guardian has signed permission for entrants under 18.
Exhibition and selection
Where's Your Wonderland digital photographs will be exhibited on the Art Gallery of South Australia’s Naomi Hobson: Adolescent Wonderland website.
The Where's Your Wonderland Photographic entries will be submitted and judged online by Adolescent Wonderland artist, Naomi Hobson at the end of each tour venue exhibition. One winner will be awarded prizes from each exhibiting tour venue.
The curator’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Here are some top tips for photographing artworks
Photograph in an area where there is plenty of natural light. Soft, diffused light is better than direct sunlight.
Make sure your subject is in focus.
Terms and conditions
Entry is open to photographic submissions from all ages.
The artwork submitted must be the original work of the entrant themselves and not infringe the copyright, moral rights or other rights of any third party. This means you must not copy an artwork or photograph created by another person or an image from another source such as the internet or a print publication.
Photographs that are deemed not to belong to or be created by the entrant will NOT be eligible.
Photographs containing inappropriate or are of a pornographic nature is not permitted.
Licensing the artwork: Entrants grant the Gallery non-exclusive rights to reproduce their artwork in material form, to photograph, publish and/or communicate it to the public for the following project-related purposes, and anything incidental to such purposes, by the Gallery, its program partners and sponsors: marketing, publicity, educational and publication uses for the Gallery, the competition and its exhibition in all media, including but not limited to electronic/digital, broadcasting and print media in perpetuity.
As presenting partners of the Naomi Hobson: Adolescent Wonderland tour, the licensing permission extends to Country Arts SA and tour venue participants, who may wish to reproduce artworks via their communication channels.
Permission to so reproduce the work must be conveyed by the entrant to any purchaser of the work. Where reasonable, the Gallery will attribute the artists as the author of the work and reproduce the work in full.
Details of the work may be used at the Gallery’s discretion.
Entrants will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
Entrants will be added to Art Gallery of South Australia's enews.
