Enter the world of The Nest creatively collaborating in art making, music, performances and movement inspired by the nature of your 'nest' home.

Book into activities with * on arrival, with the exception of Auslan Sketch Tour, which is to be booked online. Registrations open at 10.30am. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Take an Auslan interpreted Sketch Tour for deaf and hearing-impaired children and/or parents.

*Creative Music Making Workshop with Connecting the Dots in Music
11:15am, 12.30pm & 1.45pm

Enter the world of The Nest, and collaboratively create a musical performance of ‘A Piece of Me, A Piece of You’ with our teaching artists; through singing, signing or playing musical instruments. You will also be invited to create your own musical idea - a unique 'piece' to bring to our collective nest.
No musical experience required! Basic percussion instruments will be provided. Young musicians are encouraged to bring their own musical instruments. Recommended for ages 8-12, but open to all.

Bubble Extravaganza
11am -1pm

Immerse yourself in Mr Oopy’s world of bubbles, not just ordinary bubbles, massive monster bubbles!

*Choreography with the Collection

Respond to works of art on display through contemporary dance with creative choreographers Jessie McKinlay and Tanya Voges.
Register at the Start Art Club desk, duration 30 minutes, sessions every half hour.

*Blooming Hearts Yoga
11am, 12pm & 1pm

Meditate and move with Blooming Hearts Yoga.
Function Room. Duration 30 minutes. Register at the Start Art Club desk.

Start Sounds

11am-12pm - Musical mixes by DJ Angel
12:15-1:15pm - Acoustic set by young Adelaide musician, Julia Overeem.

11:55am, 1:20pm and 2:25pm - Join Connecting the Dots in Music for live musical performances of The Nest.
