Enjoy art making, music performances and tours on the first Sunday of every month
Join a mayhem of modern art, music and movement this Start with dancing, sketching and discovering on tours and creative workshops and sounds in a hyper-colourful landscape of contemporary creatives.
Book into activities on arrival, with the exception of Auslan Guided Tours, which are to be booked online. Registrations open at 10.30am. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Take an Auslan interpreted Discovery Tour for deaf and hearing-impaired children and/or parents.

Explore Evelyn Roth’s colourful inflatable wonderland.

Start Art Workshops
Calling all contemporary creatives, this month we are inviting your entries in the 2023 Start Art Prize. Design and build your own adventurous recycled material food sculptures with The Bait Fridge and contribute to a performative collaborative sculpture.

Join artists Lauren Herraman and Gemma Rose Brook on a drawing journey.

Musical mixes by DJ Angel and sensational sounds performed by The Bait Fridge Band.

Contemporary Choreography
Respond to works of art on display through contemporary dance with creative choreographers Jessie McKinlay and Tanya Voges.
Meet at The Studio entrance.
