Printmaking Workshop with Brent Harris

Take this rare opportunity to participate in a printmaking workshop run by senior contemporary artist Brent Harris. This monotype workshop will give you insights into Brent’s creative processes and techniques with the opportunity to create your own print.

In his exhibition Surrender & Catch, Harris’ work addresses the experience of the body and desire, faith (and the question of what follows death), and childhood memories of porous familial relationships. Harris’ ambiguous forms derive from his use of the Surrealist technique of automatic drawing to access unconscious imagery, which he often translates into his printmaking.

All materials provided. Bring an apron and wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty.
