Teens, it's time to Takeover!
Celebrate the collision of SA Youth Week and Andy Warhol and Photography: A Social Media in this after hours event just for teens. Dress to the theme 'SUPERSATURATE', join a multimedia production-line inspired by Warhol's studio, The Factory, with South Australian artist Rosina Possingham and Brianna Speight, snap a photo strip to take home and explore the latest projects from the state’s top youth and arts led organisations in this whole gallery event.

Live Music in the Elder Wing of Australian Art with South Australian Youth Guitar Ensemble

Enjoy music from SAYGE Q, a guitar quartet from the South Australia Youth Guitar Ensemble (SAYGE). SAYGE is a non-profit organisation whose purpose is to encourage and develop ensemble skills and confidence for classical guitarists in South Australia, regardless of ability or background.

Shell with Australian Dance Theatre

Watch the Tread dancers perform a new short work, Shell created by Zoe Dunwoodie and the dancers. Tread is Australian Dance Theatre’s young artist program, a three term program that fosters the next generation of creative artists through weekly dance workshops with a focus on creative exploration and collaboration.

Come and join artist Caitlin Bowe at the Adelaide Central School of Art Drawing Station downstairs in the Andy Warhol Exhibition. Bring your favourite selfie to draw and be inspired by the immersive exhibition of Warhol’s work on the walls around you. The drawings you create will respond to Warhol's iconic portrait style and Caitlin will help you to capture your own unique and dynamic imagery on a range of interesting collaged surfaces.

Where's Warhol? A Collaborative Drawing Collage with Carclew
Location: Downstairs in Andy Warhol and Photography: A Social Media (G22)
Guided by Artist Jay Lord, join us in creating a giant party polaroid inspired by Andy Warhol’s Factory Parties. Using pencils, A3 paper and black and white drawing techniques, create your party character and stick it onto the giant polaroid until our drawing of Warhol is just another face in the crowd.

We’ll be there, in true Andy Warhol fashion, taking polaroids of you and your friends on the iconic Andy Warhol couch! Come past to learn about how you can start your photography career before you leave high school with our VET in High School Program. Our VET in High School program is a creative and inclusive environment for students to explore their creativity through the art of photography!
