Wear a costume fit for a carnival and get ready to face-off with the challenging and bizarre works in the collection. Adorn yourself with an elaborate hand-made ruff with artist Chelsea Farquhar, rock out to the live sounds of teen bands, create a wacky mini diorama with Jess Taylor and grab a festive fairy floss!

Historic Fashion with Chelsea Farquhar
Join artist Chelsea Farquhar to explore some historic fashion. Make your own ruffs and collars and show off your creation with a photoshoot in the Melrose Wing!

Collaborative Dioramas with Jess Taylor
This workshop will  introduce participants to simple model-making techniques inspired by the work of Jake and Dinos Chapman. Through the creation of a collaborative diorama, participants will consider the tension between delicacy and profanity, craftsmanship and making-do, and small scale and big ideas.

Hybrid Installations with The Bait Fridge
Create an expansive installation on the outdoors lawns with The Bait Fridge, inspired by Berlinde De Bruyckere's We are all flesh.

Masterpiece Treasure Hunt
Go on an artwork treasure hunt and find the faux works planted in the Elder and Melrose Wings.

Spirit House
Step into the Spirit House and explore this giant inflatable sculpture created by artist Evelyn Roth!

Response Wall
Add your mark to the rainbow graffiti wall while you rock out to live music.
