South Australian Women Artists - Wikipedia Edit-a-thon.

Learn how to create and edit Wikipedia entries and help us increase information about South Australian women artists on the world’s largest and most popular research tool. Just over 20% of biographies on Wikipedia are about women. When it comes to women artists, that number is even lower.
Join this interactive workshop where you will have the opportunity to work on Wikipedia entries of South Australian Women Artists and artists featured in Dangerously Modern: Australian Women Artists in Europe 1890-1940.

Basic computer skills are required. No previous Wikipedia editing experience is necessary. Bring your own laptop.

Deaf, hard of hearing visitors, and Auslan learners are invited to take a tour of Dangerously Modern: Australian Women Artists in Europe 1890–1940 in Auslan. This tour will be in Auslan only with no English interpretation.

Ticket includes entry to the exhibition, bookings essential.

Meet in the Atrium

Painting, looking & writing: Poetry workshop with Jill Jones

Artists interpret the world through their visual work. Writers also interpret what they see, including works of art. Explore this creative mix by writing in response to art, as a poem, a letter to an artist, or a reflection, in a creative writing workshop with poet Jill Jones, Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Adelaide.

An exhibition ticket is included in the cost, suitable for over 16 years and all levels of experience. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for the workshop.
