Behind the Scenes Tour at ArtLab Australia with Morning Tea

Back by popular demand. For those that missed out on the first iteration of this event, scheduled for Thursday 19 September, this is your second chance!

Meet the ArtLab conservators who maintain the State’s collections and preserve treasures, artworks and heritage items from all over the world. AGSA works closely with ArtLab and they have recently restored works for our current exhibition, Reimaging the Renaissance. This is your opportunity to tour the facility and gain insights into their unique and highly specialised work.

Following the tour, join us for morning tea in the AGSA Courtyard.

Schedule

Tour: 10-11:30am

Morning Tea: 11:30-12pm

*Please note, there is no seating throughout the tour – participants will be standing for close to 1.5 hours.

• artworks in the building are not to be touched or handled
• large bags are not permitted in the laboratories, there is a secure lock up area where bags can be stored
• no food and drink is permitted during the tour
• you cannot take photographs
