Visitor Ticket Price Entitlements
AGSA Members
All AGSA Members have access to Member priced tickets. They are also eligible for other exclusive offers and discounts, including access to purchase an AGSA Members Season Pass, giving unlimited entry for the duration of the exhibition.
Reciprocal Members
Reciprocal members can purchase Member priced tickets. Proof of membership must be presented when requested. The following memberships are accepted:
- National Gallery of Victoria (NGV)
- Art Gallery of NSW (AGNSW)
- Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT)
- Queensland Art Gallery / Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA)
- Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA)
- Tasmanian Art Gallery and Museum (TMAG)
- SA Regional Galleries who are members of Regional Galleries Association of South Australia (RGASA)
Concession
The following concession card holders can purchase Concession price tickets. Proof of concession must be presented when requested.
- Australian Full Time Tertiary Students
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs Card, TPI or Department of Veteran’s Affairs issued Pensioner Concession Card
- Commonwealth Seniors Health Card

Australian Seniors Card
Australian Seniors Card Holders can purchase a Wednesday Seniors Card Concession Ticket which is valid for entry on a Wednesday only.
Companion Card
AGSA supports the Companion Card program and agrees to provide an admission ticket for the cardholder’s companion at no charge when the cardholder’s ticket is purchased at the same time from the Atrium Ticket Desk.
Free Age Range
Children aged 4 years and under are entitled to enter the exhibition at no charge with a 0-4 Ticket, while accompanied by a paying adult.
Children Under 18
Children aged 5-18 and/or full time Australian Secondary School Students may purchase an Under 18 discounted ticket. Proof of age/School ID must be presented upon request. All children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Family Groups
Families of two adults and up to 3 children aged under 18 may purchase a single Family group ticket for a discounted price. All members of the group must enter the exhibition at the same time.
Group of 8+ Visitors
Groups of 8 or more visitors can purchase Group of 8+ tickets at a discounted price, when all tickets are purchased in the same transaction. This includes Tertiary education groups.
Bespoke Tour guides are available to groups for an additional cost, subject to guide availability. Please visit our website for more information.
Self-guided groups of 15+ visitors are asked to register their visit via guides@artgallery.sa.gov.au
R-12 School Groups
R-12 School Groups must book their exhibition tickets via our Education Team
Complimentary Tickets
The following can access a Complimentary ticket from the Atrium Ticket Desk upon presentation of a valid membership card:
- AGSA Gold Card holders
- Council of Australian Art Museum Directors (CAAMD)
- International Association of Art Critics (AICA)
- International Council of Museums (ICOM)
- Sotherbys Preferred Card Holders
- Art Lab Staff (upon presentation of Staff ID)
- Carrick Hill Staff (upon presentation of Staff ID)
- Carrick Hill Guides on Tuesdays ONLY if the Tuesday talk is in the exhibition (upon presentation of Guide ID)
- AGSA Start Art Club Members when accompanied by a paying adult
