This captivating exhibition delves into the lives and art fifty trailblazing female artists who defied social constraints to purse their dreams across Europe and beyond during the turn of the twentieth century. From Grace Crowley and Ethel Carrick Fox to Bessie Davidson, these bold, daring and influential women shaped the art world and broke barriers.
Marking the 50th anniversary of International Womens Year, the exhibition is curated and developed by Art Gallery of South Australia Curators Tracey Lock and Elle Freak in partnership with Art Gallery of New South Wales Curator Wayne Tunnicliffe.
With a donation of $5,000 or more, you can support this major exhibition and honour yourself or someone who inspires you. Each donor will be matched with one of the fifty remarkable featured artists.
