Art Tour: Melbourne Art Fair

Contemporary Collectors are invited to join a curated tour of art experiences in Melbourne in February 2025.

Enjoy VIP access to the Melbourne Art Fair at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, visit artist studios and private collections, and tour galleries guided by arts industry professionals.

Itinerary highlights include welcome drinks at a private collection in Melbourne, VIP tickets to the Melbourne Art Fair including the VIP Preview and Vernissage, studio tours with artists Katherine Hattam, Richard Lewer and others, an exclusive preview of Naomi Milgrom's new cultural development of the Richmond Power Station, lunch at Heide Museum of Modern Art and more.

Day 1: Wednesday 19 February

• OPTIONAL: For those arriving early, we suggest attending The ARDNT Collection's private viewing at The Artbarn, Cape Schanck.
  Program & bus transfer provided by Melbourne Art Fair. Not AGSA-led.

Day 2: Thursday 20 February

• Exclusive artist talk with Brook Andrew
• First access to the VIP Preview of the Melbourne Art Fair
• Tour of the Melbourne Art Fair with AGSA Curator, Leigh Robb
• Melbourne Art Fair Vernissage
  

Day 3: Friday 21 February

• Exclusive preview of Naomi Milgrom's cultural development of the Richmond Power Station
• Studio Visit: Richard Lewer
• Studio Visit: Katherine Hattam
  

Day 4: Saturday 22 February

• Tour of Heide Museum of Modern Art led by Heide Head Curator, Kendrah Morgan
• Lunch at Heide Museum of Modern Art

Participants will also receive access to Melbourne Art Fair VIP events and a comprehensive guide to Melbourne galleries, exhibitions and events happening during the Fair.

Ticket pricing

Contemporary Collector: $1,000
$700 fee + $300 tax-deductible donation towards acquisition

New/Renewed Contemporary Collector: $1,500 
$700 fee + $500 CC joining tax-deductible donation + $300 tax-deductible donation towards acquisition*

* To access this tour, non-Contemporary Collectors are invited to join Contemporary Collectors. The cost of joining Contemporary Collectors is included in the 'New Contemporary Collector' price for your convenience as well as a $300 donation towards a future acquisition. New Contemporary Collectors donations directly support the acquisition of contemporary art for the Gallery and $800.00 is tax-deductible.
