Year 7 Ceramic Animals - Banksia Park International High School

Year 7 students from Banksia Park International High School have been inspired by works of art by Tangentyere and Yarrenyty Arltere artists, in particular the flat ceramic birds that were on display in Tarnanthi 2023. The students responded by making flat ceramic animals that represent their identity. These works were then attached to the stobie pole out the front of our school with a QR code on the pole so the people passing by can read the students stories. 

It is great to see that despite an exhibition being over, teachers continue to use AGSA exhibitions and resources as starting points for their art lessons.
