Quotes by Kids

On average 30,000 students visit AGSA in a year. Post-visit we sometimes receive images from a school capturing their experience, or photographs of student work that responds to works of art in our collection. While we love seeing this engagement – and do continue to send these through too – we want to capture and share more of your student experiences with our education community, and make it easy for you to do so.

Introducing ‘Quotes by Kids’, an online platform where you can send us a candid photograph, perhaps one of students in the Gallery, accompanied by a sentence, caption or quote by your students. It might be something funny or something they learnt, their favourite part of the excursion or even something mentioned in the classroom back at school.

We also extend this invitation to friends and families visiting the Gallery with children on weekends, school holidays and Start days.

Prizes to be won each term

Each term AGSA Education will be awarding two ‘Quotes by Kids’ winners, one from a Department for Education School and one from either a Catholic or Independent school. Winners will receive their choice of either a class materials pack or a complementary Drawing, Dancing or Writing in the Gallery Workshop for your next visit (valid for 12 months).
