Sundari Carmody explores relationships between consciousness, the cosmos, and the unknown. Using varied materials as well as scents and vapours, she seeks to give form to things that are invisible or that lie just beyond the limits of our perception.

While looking at ancient ritual objects and sacred sites, Carmody wondered what a temple of the future might hold, smell like and be dedicated to. The Mountain refers to traditional places of pilgrimage, transcendence and spiritual elevation.
